Front Cover:
This is a very lovely and unusual old souvenir brochure. Glynde Place is just 58 miles from London, England. The book gives the history of the estate and brief histories of some of the former inhabitants - the Waley family & the descendents the Morley family. This booklet was published in 1928 by Farncombe & Co., Lewes. The brochure measures 5 ½ inches by 8 ½ inches and contains 12 pages. The soft cover is firmly attached. The cover has a lovely “paste-on” on the front. The cover shows no signs of wear to speak of. The back cover has some very light soiling, hardly worth mentioning. The pages are printed on a good quality, glossy paper and show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this wonderful, 76 year old booklet is very good.
Teas in the Coach House. Special teas for parties if ordered in advance. Glynde 229.
