Five Marys

by Isabel Warrington Heaps

Front Cover/Spine:

This is a very lovely old book. It is wonderfully illustrated by reproductions of the works of David Roberts (1796-1864). It was published in 1942 by Abingdon-Cokesbury Press, New York & Nashville. The book has been inscribed and signed by the author. The beige cloth cover shows signs of wear to the edges, corners (worn to the boards) and to the top and bottom of the spine. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The pages show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this old book is good plus.

These statements must be carefully related to the manners and customs and to the geography and history of the times described…
