This is a very lovely story about the visit of the wise men to the Christ child. This book contains some other stories as well. This edition of the book was published in 1923 by Harper & Brothers Publishers, New York and London. The book measures 4 3/8 inches by 7 inches and contains xiv, 75 pages. The dust jacket is in fair condition. The dust jacket shows signs of wear to the edges and has a large chip out of the back. The red cloth cover has a lovely pictorial paste-on on the front. The title is in gilt on the front and down the spine. The cover shows minor signs of wear, hardly worth mentioning. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The pages are printed on good quality paper and show no signs of rips or foxing. There is a gift inscription on the front free end page. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this lovely old book is very good.

It is now some years since this little story was set afloat on the sea of books. It is not a man-of-war, nor even a high-sided merchantman; only a small, peaceful sailing-vessel.
