This is a set of three vintage travel brochures for the Staffordshire region. Each brochure measures 11 5/8 inches by 16 ½ inches unfolded. They are folded in half and then in half once again. The folded brochure measures approximately 5 7/8 inches by 8 ¼ inches. Inside of each brochure is a large map. All of them do not contain dates (that I could see) but one of them mentions 1986 so I would guess all of them to be in that date range and state “A Staffordshire County Planning and Development Department Production.” The pages are printed on good quality paper and show no signs of rips or wear. The overall condition of these pieces are very good.

Excerpt – About the Staffordshire Way:
The Staffordshire Way is a long distance footpath which has been established by Staffordshire County Council. It spans the length of the County for 92 miles from Mow Cop to Kinver Edge. The route is based wholly on the public rights of way or paths on which access has been granted, and it has been signposted and waymarked to ensure that it can be followed without difficulty.

The Way explores some of Staffordshire’s loveliest countryside and several of its most interesting villages, as well as linking country parks and picnic places. Easy accessibility for as many people as possible was an essential factor in determining the route, so it is, therefore, no coincidence that the Way starts just to the north of Stoke-on-Trent and runs close to the West Midlands Conurbation. To many people the Staffordshire Way is virtually ‘on the doorstep’.
