This is a very neat old book. It is set in the Civil War era. The book was published in 1927 by Charles Scribner’s Sons, New York. The book measures 5 1/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches and contains 426 pages. This is a former library copy and has the requisite markings and a pocket on the inside back cover. The book has been rebound. The red cloth cover of the book itself shows minor signs of wear, hardly worth mentioning. The title is in gilt on the front and on the spine. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The pages show no signs of rips or foxing. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this book is very good.
