This is a nice piece of military memorabilia. This book was published in 1872 at the National Armory, Springfield, Massachusetts. The Colonel of Ordnance being P.V. Hagner and the Major of Ordnance S.V. Benet. The soft cover book measures 5 ½ inches by 8 ¼ inches and contains 8 pages. The cover is slightly soiled, faded and spotted. This appears to be cosmetic. The cover shows signs of wear. The cover is securely attached and the book is bound by staples. The staples are a bit rusted. The pages show no signs of rips or foxing. The blue from the cover has bled to some of the pages. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this book is fair.
