This is an interesting old book. It was published in 1938 by The Literary Guild, New York. The book measures 6 ½ inches by 9 ½ inches and contains xii, 309 pages. The dust jacket shows signs of wear and is currently in a protective covering. The maroon cloth cover has no signs of wear to speak of. The title is in gilt on the spine. There is an embossed squid on the front board. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The front hinge is reinforced with hinge conservation tape. The pages show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this book is good.
