This is a vintage childrens school textbook. This book was published in 1940 by Silver Burdett Company, New York, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. The book measures 7 ½ inches by 10 ¼ inches and contains viii, 342 pages. The cover shows minor signs of wear. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The book has a rubber stamp marking on the inside front cover from a school district, an inscription on the front free end page and a small ex-libris sticker on the back side of the front free end page. The pages show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of the book is good.
