This book is a wonderful piece of Americana. Perhaps you visited these places in your childhood. There are many vintage photographs. This book was published in 1953 by Hastings House Publishers, New York. The book measures 8 inches by 10 7/8 inches and contains 324 pages. There is a pocket on the inside back cover containing a large 18 inch by 25 inch fold out map. The dust jacket shows signs of wear with some chips and rips along the edges and is in fair condition. The beige cloth cover shows no signs of wear to speak of. The book has pictorial end pages. The pages show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of the book itself is very good.
