This is an interesting biography about a woman and a country. This book was published in 1993 by Harper Perennial. The soft cover book measures 5 ¼ inches by 8 inches and contains 256 pages. The cover shows minor signs of wear and is securely attached. The pages show no signs of rips or tears. There is a mark on the bottom edges of the pages (remainder?). Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this book is good.

In 1886 Elisabeth Niezsche, sister of the famous philosopher and friend of Richard Wagner, traveled with a select group of blond-haired, blue-eyed Germans to the remote Paraguayan wilderness to found an Aryan colony she called Nueva Germania. In Forgotten Fatherland Ben Macintyre tracks down the descendants of this early racial experiment, still living in Nueva Germania and breeding among themselves.
