Western Ghost Towns

By Lambert Florin

Dust Jacket:

This is a neat old book. It tells about haunting and ghosts to be sure but it also tells about America. The west, mining towns, the people and places. The book was published in 1961 by Superior Publishing Company, Seattle. The book measures 8 ½ inches by 10 ¾ inches and contains 174 pages. The dust jacket shows signs of wear and is clipped. The dust jacket is in fair condition. The gray cloth cover shows no signs of wear to speak of. The spine is tight and the hinges are strong. The pages are printed on good quality, glossy paper and show no signs of rips. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of the book itself is very good.

    Excerpt - Dust Jacket:
What dramas were played under the faded signs and behind these crumbling walls? What sort of people kicked the dust of these silent streets? And the five men hung from the livery stable beam - what is the story there? Perhaps the coyotes and prairie dogs know… but in the meantime here is author Lambert Florin to tell you.

With more than 200 of his own photographs he shows you how these famous host towns look today… and with engaging words, the stories of their rise and fall…
