This is a very lovely old book. It was published in 1963 by The Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association of the Union, Mount Vernon, Virginia. The soft cover book measures 5 1/4 inches by 7 7/8 inches and contains 81 pages. There is a lovely pictorial map on the inside front cover and front free end page. The back free end page and inside back cover contain George Washington’s Map of the Five Farms Comprising His Mount Vernon Estate, Drawn from Field Notes, 1793. The pictorial cover shows minor signs of wear and/or surface scuffing. The top of the front cover shows signs of moisture damage which does not extend to any of the pages. The cover is firmly attached. The pages are printed on a good quality paper and show no signs of rips, tears or folds. Exceptions noted, the overall condition of this interesting old book is good.
